A stay of at least four weeks in 2027 in a spacious 90 m² art deco flat above the Oude Graanmarkt in the Passa Porta literature house, with a weekly allowance from Passa Porta and rail travel costs reimbursed by the Dutch Foundation for Literature. The author is introduced to Belgian literary life and may be asked for a meeting with the Belgian public. The place is exchanged each year with a Flemish author's residency in Amsterdam.

Dutch-language poets, writers, biographers and literary translators who write (or translate) mainly in Dutch, with at least one literary publication in Dutch or Frisian with a regular publisher; authors without a publication but with relevant professional literary experience (for example slam poets, literary performers, podcast makers) may also apply. Authors who took part in another Letterenfonds residency within the last five years are not eligible.
