A residency at Studio Cirkus, a music studio in a former mission house in Djurås by: the selected musician invites three nationally active musicians to work together in the studio and its church-hall acoustics. Each participating musician receives a tax-free grant of SEK 10,000; travel, housing and studio costs are included. Run with Region Dalarna; the studio's team (Mikael Hansson, Anna Ihlis, Björn Sima) hosts and coordinates.

Professional artists in music — musicians (any instrument, e.g. bass, vocals, electronics, oud), composers, music producers (record producers with royalty income) or conductors — who at least partly make a living from their art. Applicants must live in Sweden or practise their art mainly here (foreign citizens can apply); not studying more than 50% when the decision is made; no debts with the Swedish Enforcement Authority.
