A free three-month mentorship (January–March, excluding the exhibition period) with a professional artist of at least ten years' practice: one-to-one meetings online and in person at least once every two weeks, four group meetings and in-person practical group sessions at the GCAF studios in Lagos; support with budgeting, networking, critiques, skills, research, grant writing, documentation, artist statements and exhibition proposals; participation in community exhibits.

Female artists in the early stages of their careers as professional artists, aged 19–40, African. Individuals enrolled in post-secondary study are ineligible. Best suited to emerging women artists with an active studio practice and a body of work made outside formal training; mentees must commit significant time to their practice and keep to appointments. The 2026–27 edition focuses on painting, textile/fibre, ceramics, drawing, printmaking and sculpture.
