Künstler:innenhaus Lauenburg is Schleswig-Holstein's international residency house for contemporary visual art, literature and composition, funded by the state's culture ministry.

Four months (mid-May to mid-September 2027) in the artists' house on the Elbe in Lauenburg, with a furnished studio-flat (own shower and kitchen), free electricity, internet and landline, and a monthly grant of €1,000 net; a production subsidy for the final presentation, individual support and networking with the Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein scene. Residents spend at least half of the period in Lauenburg and give an opening and a final presentation. Applicants may also opt into a curated group show of applicants' work at the Stadtgalerie.

Professional visual artists from Germany and abroad working in contemporary visual art. Excluded: those still in their first degree at the start of the stipend, those holding another residency at the same time, and recipients of a Schleswig-Holstein stipend in the last three years. A €10 application fee applies.
