Use of shared rooms in the historic Centro Cultural UFMG building from March to December 2027, in morning (08:00–13:00) or afternoon (15:00–20:00) slots on weekdays, at most two slots a week; visual artists get a ground-floor room with a sink bench, easels and drawers. Rooms are closed during the March and July university festivals. Selected residents may show the results or give free workshops, open classes or talks for the public as a return, in agreement with the centre. The proposer bears all fees, taxes and costs of third parties. The page states no stipend.

Individuals, groups or collectives, registered or not, new or established, over 18, Brazilian or foreign, residing and domiciled in Brazil (foreigners need a permanent visa and national registration). One proposal per applicant. The call covers research and experimentation in performing arts (theatre, dance, performance), visual arts (painting, photography, object, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, tapestry, digital art), music (popular, classical, experimental) and literature (poetry, scripts, reading and study groups). The building does not yet meet the Brazilian accessibility standard NBR 9050.
