Working grant of €1350 per month (€16 200 in total) via Kone Foundation. The Fellows will be awarded 50% working grants directly from Kone Foundation. Research budget of €2000. Access budget up to €1000. Residency accommodation and workspace provided at HIAP Suomenlinna. Two fellows. The period is 12 April 2027 – 9 April 2028. Fellows join the Steering Group (2 meetings), mentor international residents, present work in the Learning Intensive week during 2–8 August 2027, and contribute to at least one publishing output.

This call is for Finland-based artists and arts practitioners only. Artists and arts practitioners from all disciplines are welcome to apply, but applicants will need to demonstrate expertise in material and socially-engaged practices. If you are applying as a collective, please note there is no additional grant available. The Kone Foundation 50% working grant, 1350€/month, can be paid to one individual only. Application language is English. Family members are welcome.
