Annual one-act play contest of the Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival; the winner gets a professional staged reading at the Festival.

For emerging or previously unpublished playwrights (books in other genres are fine). Plays not previously published, professionally produced or performed, not under option or commission; workshop or program readings are acceptable. Up to one hour (one act, approx. 60 pages), in English, anonymous script with cast list. Students and faculty of the University of New Orleans Film & Theatre Arts Graduate Program and Creative Writing Workshop are ineligible. Unlimited entries.
