The selected visual artist will receive a $12,500 artist fee, up to $25,000 for fabrication, installation and presentation, and separate pay for public programs and open studio hours. The studio is the historic Chicken House in Vizcaya Village, 375 square feet, for exclusive use during the residency. Vizcaya provides curatorial guidance, exhibition labels, photography, a brochure, a short documentary, and marketing. Housing and travel are not part of the offer.

Applications are open to South Florida-based emerging, mid-career and established artists working in all disciplines.
