A five-week residency at the castle (17 May to 27 June 2027) with a grant of CHF 4,000, CHF 1,000 for travel, transport and meals and up to CHF 1,000 for materials; the work is shown in the castle's rooms during the 14th Schlossmediale festival (17 to 26 June 2027). Artists live and work in the castle and the old town and give tours and talks.

Three solo artists (no duos or groups) with academic degrees, in the disciplines sound art, sound studies, audiovisual art, experimental instrument building, visual art, installations, sculpture, land art and performance. Sound installations without a visual dimension are not considered. The artwork must be finished and in perfect working order on the opening day of the festival.
