Arts Council Korea's Crowdfunding Challenge rewards artists who successfully raise funds for basic-arts projects through crowdfunding.

A success bonus paid directly to the artist or organisation according to the amount actually raised: KRW 500,000 for KRW 1–5 million, KRW 1,000,000 for KRW 5–10 million and KRW 2,000,000 for KRW 10 million or more. Selection weighs funding results (amount versus target and number of backers), budget appropriateness and creative potential. 2026 is the last year of the programme.

Artists and arts organisations whose crowdfunding project in the basic arts (literature, visual arts, performing arts, multidisciplinary arts as defined by the Arts Promotion Fund) succeeded on any platform, with fundraising that started or ended on or after 1 January 2026. Webtoon, animation, illustration, popular music, film, games and merchandise projects are excluded. Applicants from round 1 may apply again with a different project.
