Funding comes from the Rory and Elizabeth Brooks Foundation and covers the stay, travel and visa costs. Few research fellowships give this depth of institutional access to someone from outside the country.

For practitioners and researchers based outside the United Kingdom. Two fellows are hosted in the Tate Britain Curatorial Division from 5 April to 17 September 2027. The 2027 themes are «Leonora Carrington: Art and the Theatre of Life», working with manuscripts, correspondence, photographs and ephemera, and «Artist Supported Studios», contributing research towards the 2028 Tate Britain Commission.
