The Theatre Project Award supports specific artistic projects in theatre, enabling individual artists and organisations to bring their ideas to fruition, with up to €26,000 per project.

Professional artists and organisations working in theatre who are resident or based in the Republic of Ireland; applicants from elsewhere may be accepted if they explain how the proposal benefits the arts in the Republic. Full-time employees of organisations funded through Strategic, Arts Centre, Arts Grant or Partnership Funding are eligible to apply or be part of an application. Strands 3 and 4 are removed from this round.
