Housing in the Wedding Cake House, a Victorian mansion run by the artist-run space Dirt Palace, for a week or slightly longer, free of any residency or application fee; access to the Dirt Palace Classic facilities; a welcome lunch; depending on the model, some meals. There are no stipends or travel budgets, and no public events are required (an Instagram takeover is asked).

Project-based residencies with a focus on mid-career artists, open to all disciplines; non-artists collaborating with artists may join a duo. No longer limited to New England but preference goes to artists from New England and Rhode Island, and to artists from second cities; international applications are not accepted this year. Sessions: group residencies 12–21 January, 28 January–6 February and 14–22 November; Family Teen 14–20 February (artists with teens aged 13–16); Caregiver 1–10 March; Super Duo 18–27 March; Duo 6–15 April and 6–15 December; Family Youth 25 July–1 August (children aged 8–12).
