First prize AED 10,000 and the OMIC Art Emblem, second AED 3,000, third AED 2,000. Selected works are shortlisted for the Shortlisted Artists Exhibition at OMIC, where they can be sold (OMIC keeps 35% commission, the artist 65%). Copyright stays with the artist.

Artists aged 18 and over who are residents of the UAE, of any nationality (proof of age and residency requested from shortlisted artists only). One original, never publicly exhibited painting, sculpture or installation on the theme «Shared Ground» that has not won another competition; no size limit. Shortlisted works must be available for exhibition at OMIC.
