Grants of up to CA$15,000 in four categories — New Works, Presentation, Skills/Career Development and Working with Community — for creation and production of new works in all artistic disciplines, exhibitions, concerts, readings, festivals and publications, participation in conferences, workshops, courses, mentorships and festivals in Ontario, Canada or abroad, and community-engaged projects, residencies and collaborations. Small equipment, childcare and accessibility costs are eligible.

Professional artists who have resided in northern Ontario for at least one year before applying and continue to live there at least eight months a year; also northern Ontario not-for-profits, publishers, ad hoc groups and collectives (at least 50 per cent northern professionals) and First Nations and Indigenous-run schools. Co-applicants split the grant equally.
