Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation
An annual photography award launched in 2021 by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation to reward photographers for raising awareness of environmental protection, in five categories: Polar Regions, Forests, Ocean, Humanity versus Nature and Changemakers. An international jury selects 36 finalists; the exhibition has travelled to Italy, San Marino, Spain, the United States, Canada and France.

36 photographs are selected for the 2027 edition, its exhibition and publication. The grand prize winner (Environmental Photographer 2027) receives a €5,000 grant and an invitation, including travel and accommodation, to the exhibition opening in Monaco; each of the 5 category winners receives €1,000, and runners-up €500. Selected images are featured in the exhibition in Monaco and on its international tour, and in the 2027 book.

The Award is global and open to photographers of all nationalities who will be aged 18 or over on 1st November 2026. Images must have been shot within the past 5 years (no earlier than 1 September 2021).
