The Swedish Arts Grants Committee funds artistic development projects by dancers, choreographers and circus artists based in Sweden — new works, methods and ideas starting in 2027.

A project grant with no fixed ceiling for creating new works, testing new ways of working or developing new ideas — covering the applicant's and collaborators' pay, materials, rent and travel, budgeted including VAT. Decided by the working group for dance and circus.

publicSeo.openCall.eligibility

Professional dancers, choreographers, circus artists and circus directors/choreographers. Only one person can be the applicant, but others in the project can be paid from the grant. Projects must start in the following year and have clear aims and start and end dates; touring of finished works is not funded. You must be resident in Sweden or practise most of your art here (foreign citizens may apply on the same terms); not studying more than 50% when the decision is made; no debts with the Swedish Enforcement Authority; de minimis aid under €300,000 in three years.
