Open call of the Ukraine Solidarity Residencies Programme, coordinated by HIAP and supported by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture, founded in 2022 by independent art organisations. 2027 partners: HIAP, Art Centre Salmela, Vantaa Artists Association, Värtsilä Art House, Nelimarkka Museum, Fairres and AARK.

Residencies of 1–3 months, January – July 2027, with the possibility of extension, at partner venues across Finland: free living and working space, one return trip, a working grant of €1,200 per month, and a small access budget for disabled artists.

publicSeo.openCall.eligibility

This call is for professional Ukrainian or Ukraine-based artists and arts practitioners who have been affected by the war. Artists and arts practitioners from all disciplines are welcome to apply. Some residencies can host artists with family members (up to 4 people). Application language: English (written, audio or video answers).
