A free international open-submission triennial of contemporary glass art run by a municipal glass museum.

Grand Prize ¥3,000,000 (1 work), Gold ¥1,000,000 (1), Silver ¥300,000 (2), Jury Prize ¥100,000 (6), total ¥5,200,000 before tax. Fifty works are selected for the exhibition at the museum (10 July – 11 October 2027) and printed in the catalogue; Grand and Gold prize works are donated to the museum. Overseas artists pay shipping and insurance to a Japanese airport; the committee pays customs clearance and transport within Japan. Jury: curators from Corning Museum of Glass, NEUES GLAS, Canberra Glassworks and Japan.

Open to all, regardless of nationality or age, individually or as a group, up to two works each. Works must be primarily glass, no restriction on genre or function, created since 2024 and not submitted to other competitions; AI-generated works may not be submitted unmodified. Maximum 240 cm in total width, depth and height (installations under 9 m² and 3.3 m high), under 100 kg; video works up to five minutes in which glass plays the major role.
