The first Neuwerk Lake Residency, 1 May – 30 June 2027: exclusive use of the 116 m² barrier-free studio in the Neuwerk cooperative in Konstanz, with living space and utilities included; a following exhibition in the vaulted cellar of the Kulturzentrum am Münster in Konstanz's old town (June – September 2027) with an individually agreed exhibition budget, promotion and an opening; networking with the art scene of Konstanz and the Lake Constance region; and the chance to run a public side programme such as an artist talk, open studio or workshop. Travel, living costs, insurance and fees are not paid.

Professional emerging artists with an independent practice in contemporary art or design, at the start or in the middle of their careers. Applications are open regionally, nationally and internationally — from the Lake Constance region, the German-speaking countries, Europe and beyond. Sufficient German or English is required; there is no age limit. Applicants must be able to finance their stay themselves.
