The Chilean Ministry of Cultures' Executive Secretariat for Performing Arts runs a creation lab to professionalise scenic oral storytelling.

Up to 10 selected storytellers take part in a four-day Scenic Creation Lab in the Arica y Parinacota region in November 2026, with theory-and-practice workshops by experienced performing arts professionals on staging, scenic resources, scenic design and voice, ending with a free public showcase of the participants' storytelling shows.

Scenic oral storytellers aged 18+, Chilean or foreigners with permanent residence in Chile, living in the regions of Arica y Parinacota, Tarapacá, Antofagasta, Atacama, Coquimbo, Valparaíso, Metropolitana or O'Higgins, with at least three years of experience creating oral storytelling shows and at least two works with public performances in 2024–2025. Applications through the Ministry's platform with a Perfil Cultura registration.
