Catalyst Award $1,000 stipend (emerging artists or small, early-stage projects), Vanguard Award $2,500 (more established artists or projects further along) and the special Susan Antinori Visual Artist Award $5,000 for fresh, experimental work in traditional 2D and 3D media; panellists decide which award a project gets. The number of awards depends on annual fundraising. Funds cover materials, equipment, fabrication, artist fees and professional fees for new work.

Working artists and cultural producers aged 20 or over living in metro Atlanta, in any discipline and at any career stage, including curators, nonprofit administrators and educators; individuals, producers and artist collaboratives, not institutions. Students may apply for work outside the academic process; thesis projects are not eligible. One individual application per cycle; past awardees wait three years. The project must take real risk in form, process or content; applicants do not request an amount.
