A fee of CAD $250,000 plus HST, inclusive of all costs, to design, produce and install permanent, site-specific artwork(s) for the new community centre, library and district park in Riverside South. The primary opportunity is a large wall-based artwork in the shared lobby (about 3.2 m high by 25 m long); secondary sites include the south shade structure and the north landscape area. Up to four shortlisted artists are each paid an honorarium of $1,500 CAD for a Stage Two proposal.

Open to local, national and international professional artists and artist teams with experience in creating permanent public art and working with multidisciplinary teams. City of Ottawa employees are not eligible to apply. Applications from Anishinabe Algonquin and other First Nations, Inuit and Métis artists are welcome and encouraged.
