A grant of $500 to $10,000 as a stipend for an arts or culture project or programme that creates access to the arts, breaks down barriers and builds connection in the region, to be carried out between 1 January and 31 December 2027. Projects that qualify: innovative work that expands access for underserved communities or tackles community challenges, exhibitions, workshops or programmes celebrating diverse and under-represented groups, collaborative programmes, and arts for health. Not funded: entertainment and receptions, for-profit activity, new organisations, artist relief, travel, tuition, facilities, lobbying and costs outside the grant period. A final report is due 30 days after the project, no later than 31 January 2028.

Practicing artists of all disciplines (performing, visual, literary, media and others), 18 or older, living in Barnstable, Dukes or Nantucket County through the grant year (1 January to 31 December 2027), with at least two years of public engagement, presentation or publication, who are lead artist on every part of the project and whose work benefits and focuses mainly on Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. Students in any degree are not eligible. Collaborations must name one lead artist as applicant. Priority goes to new projects; repeat funding for the same activity is not expected beyond one year.
