The Lithuanian Council for Culture (Lietuvos kultūros taryba) funds cultural projects and awards individual, mobility and emerging-creator stipends to artists in all fields. The emerging-creator stipend supports artists at the very start of their careers; applications are scored on creative potential, justification, relevance to the creator and to the art field, and previous results.

A stipend of €800 per month for no less than 6 months and no more than one year, to encourage the creative expression of an artist starting a career. It can be received only once. Results are announced on 29 January 2027 after expert and council evaluation.

publicSeo.openCall.eligibility

Adult artists and cultural creators who are citizens of Lithuania, another EU member state or a third country, if their work concerns Lithuanian culture and art and its dissemination; who have never received a stipend from the Lithuanian Council for Culture; and who in the last 3 years completed studies in the arts, humanities or social sciences (first-cycle higher education) or a general school with integrated specialised arts education. Students may not apply for activities that are part of their study programme; film creators covered by the Lithuanian Film Centre's stipends and media creators covered by the Media Support Fund are excluded. Applications are filled in in Lithuanian.
