First artist residency of Brooklyn Metal Works, a non-ferrous metalsmithing studio, gallery and concept lab in Brooklyn; the first cohort is funded by community donations fiscally sponsored by Art Jewelry Forum.

Three 3-month residencies in 2027 (February–April, May–July, September–November): a semi-private studio on the educational floor, an unrestricted stipend of $300 per month, a $300 Tool Shop credit, a $600 course credit, a $500 stipend for a closing artist lecture, a paid chance to teach or assist a workshop, a professional review and one professional development opportunity. Minimum 25 studio hours a week.

For jewelry artists who self-define as emerging, mid-career, or established. Local, national, and international applicants may apply. English proficiency is required. Project proposals must outline non-ferrous jewelry-centered projects. Artists enrolled in a degree program during the residency are not eligible; individual artists only, no groups or collectives. Housing is not included.
