The 46th Western Spirit Juried Art Show & Sale, 6 March – 18 April 2027, a juried exhibition of the Rocky Mountain region and a major fundraiser for the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. Work is selected by an independent jury of professionals in the Western art community. Awards: Best of Show $1,000, Best of each medium $500, Best Student Artist $250, Best Miniature $100. The museum keeps a 35% commission; artists receive 65%.

Emerging and established artists; students have a separate category. Accepted media: acrylic, drawing, mixed media (including digital drawings), oil, pastel, photography, printmaking, sculpture and watercolour. AI-generated artwork and installation art are not eligible. Work must be original, created within the last three years, not previously displayed for sale at the museum, and available for sale for the whole exhibition. 2D maximum 47 × 60 inches framed; 3D base up to 3 square feet. Up to 4 works per artist.
