Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival, run by Alchemy Film & Arts, is the UK's festival of experimental film and artists' moving image, held each spring in the Scottish Borders. It is non-competitive and works year-round with local and international artists and communities.

Selected works join an international programme of cinema screenings, live performances and moving-image exhibitions at the festival in Hawick, 29 April – 2 May 2027. All selected artists are remunerated for their work. The festival gives dedicated technical support for installations and commissions descriptive subtitles (SDH) for every film.

Open internationally to experimental film and artists' moving image, including multi-channel installations. There are no premiere restrictions, though the festival prefers work not already widely shown in Scotland and favours work completed after 1 January 2026.
