The Department of Culture, Youth and Media of the Flemish Government administers Arts Decree project subsidies for artists and organisations in Flanders and Brussels, assessed by expert committees.

Subsidies of up to €50,000 under the Flemish Arts Decree for presenting art productions abroad at venues with international appeal and publicly accessible presentation opportunities. Up to €15,000 is paid in full on award; larger grants are paid 70% in advance and 30% after the final report. A committee assesses the application and the Flemish minister for Culture decides within three months of the deadline.

Artists or groups of artists, arts organisations, arts workers mediating the presentation, or foreign organisations programming the work — the presented artist or organisation must be located in Flanders or the Brussels-Capital Region. Literature and audiovisual work (covered by Literature Flanders and the Flemish Audiovisual Fund) are not eligible; organisations with more than €400,000 in operating grants are excluded. Applicants based in Flanders/Brussels apply in Dutch.
