The Kulturreferat (Department of Arts and Culture) of the City of Munich runs artist exchanges with partner cities alongside its own Artist in Residence Munich programme at Villa Waldberta.

A three-month residency (1 February – end of April 2027) at AHC / Art Hub Copenhagen in Thoravej 29, run with the City of Munich’s Department of Arts and Culture and the Goethe-Institut Dänemark: a room in a shared apartment, a free studio of about 13 m², free access to the wood, metal, assembly and grinding workshops, foundry and digital workshop, a grant of €1,300 per month (also covering materials), travel costs, advice from AHC and the Goethe-Institut, studio visits with one or two curators and mentors, and a possible open studio. Research or production. In exchange a Copenhagen artist stays at Villa Waldberta in Munich.
