“Bom Dia” OASis Residency 2027 — Cultivamos Cultura, São Luís, Portugal (€1,300 Fee + Production)
Cultivamos Cultura
Site-responsive, community-oriented residency of Cultivamos Cultura in rural Alentejo, part of the European OASis network, linking artistic practice with ecology, local communities and sustainable futures. The jury — three from Cultivamos Cultura, three from OASis partners and one local resident — favours projects with local or natural materials, ecological interest and care for the community.

One proposal is selected for a 7–30-day residency in March 2027 at Cultivamos Cultura: travel up to €500, a private room in a shared farmhouse in the centre of São Luís with a shared kitchen, a project fee of €1,300, a food per diem, production and materials up to €1,600, a workspace/studio and free use of all spaces and resources. The resident's output joins the OASis group exhibition in 2027 and the Cultivamos Cultura collection.

International creators, artists and researchers from any field, and practitioners working at the intersection of culture and other disciplines. Individuals or groups of up to 2 people (the same conditions and funding apply to a pair). Residents must be physically present and reasonably autonomous; projects are judged on their portfolio from recent years. The local community in São Luís mostly speaks only Portuguese.
