Creators registered as residents in Japan with at least three years of work and exhibitions in their field, sufficient English (or the host language) and the ability to live and work independently. Individuals only — no groups. Students are not eligible, except doctoral students. Fields vary by city: visual art in Basel, Brussels, Dublin and Montreal; visual, performance and sound art in Berlin; visual and performance art in Seoul; visual art, architecture, design, music, performance, research and curation in Helsinki and Taipei.
