A paid four-month residency of an artist-run studio complex in Leuven that ends in a group show at a Belgian kunsthal; the prize format is reworked into a shared process.

Each of the four artists receives for four months (all incl. VAT): an artist fee of €1,100 per month, a transport allowance of €120 per month and a one-off production budget of €1,200, in total €6,080, plus a studio at Off the Grid in Leuven, curatorial and production guidance, peer exchange and a group exhibition with public programme at Kunsthal Mechelen (4 June to 29 August 2027) that carries its own artist and production fee. No accommodation is provided.

Artists based in Belgium, in the early stages of their professional career, with limited institutional and commercial visibility, dedicated to professionalising their practice through research and experimentation and open to a shared, collective residency. Artists working across disciplines are encouraged (visual arts, installation, performance, moving image, sound, scenography, socially engaged practices). Especially suited to recent graduates and emerging practitioners. Four artists are selected.
