Nine weeks on campus, 5 June–7 August 2027, with a studio, shops, library, and meals. Tuition for the 2027 program is $6,000 per person, which helps cover lodging and meals. In the past decade, more than 95% of participants have received full scholarships. If you are accepted and unable to pay any portion of the tuition, we will identify a scholarship(s) so you can attend. We provide grants toward travel expenses for our international applicants. We cannot provide financial assistance for travel expenses within the United States. This fee is $25, and increases to $50 for the final two days of the application period. The fee cannot be waived, except the stated Inlaks arrangement for eligible Indian artists.

There is no maximum age. The common language at Skowhegan is English. Collectives may apply, but only two members may attend.
