Film artists of distinction with at least one credit as director or writer-director of a feature-length film or creative documentary that was exhibited in cinema. Applicants must be resident in the Republic of Ireland, with exceptions where an applicant can show an arts practice that benefits the arts in the Republic of Ireland, and must identify themselves, and be recognised by their peers, as professional practising artists.
