Aviário Studio is a workshop complex in Ferreira do Zêzere in central Portugal, built around equipment rather than around a view: Polymetaal and Reig presses for printmaking, a Krause book-binding press, a 240 × 140 cm cutting table, a paper guillotine, a UV exposure unit, a sewing machine, drying racks, a light table, an enlarger and a black-and-white analogue darkroom, alongside ceramics facilities. Residents get an individual workspace with a desk and internet, and can either stay in the studio's guest house — a shared ground-floor house in the town centre, twenty minutes' walk away — or arrange their own accommodation. Technical assistance and training can be booked by the hour. Public transport in the region is scarce, so a car is advisable.

Open internationally, with separate sessions through 2027 for artist books, photography, printmaking (intaglio, relief and large format), ceramics (including slab building, coil building, glaze development and tiles), painting and multidisciplinary work. Stays run from two weeks to four months in three formats: self-directed, guided (a plan built around the artist's goals, mixing training with independent work) and assisted production for projects needing technical help. Workshop access depends on demonstrated experience; a 50% deposit reserves the place, the balance is due on arrival.
